If she can afford a $2.5 million home in D.C., why can't she afford one in Louisiana?

She owns two in Louisiana, along with her family, in a trust. The one on Prieur and one on the lake.

Would it make her a better Senator? What would she do different if she owned a more expensive house in LA?

Sorry if I'm being obtuse here. I just don't see how it would make someone more likely to vote for her if she owned a more expensive house in LA...

Would an expensive LA home align her politics closer to the people in LA? I think she's pretty misaligned and askew. But her home value has little to do with it...
