Ballistically twins for most shooters' purposes - perhaps the .30-06 reaches a little further with a little more energy, but really only at the heavier bullet weights. If you're using commercial (not handloads) ammo, the platform, particularly the barrel length and stiffness will dictate your ballistic differences far more than chambering.
