This. I hope we work on that some this week. A good example is the 3rd Q this past week where Jennings went deep to Dural on 3rd and long. Diarse was open on the crossing route for the 1st. Instead, incomplete, we punt.
The deep ball is great once in a while, but sustaining drives needs to be a priority.

A lot of things a power team does against an opponent like Sam Houston can be shot down with "That wouldn't happen against (fill in the blank)."
His first TD pass certainly had nice speed and trajectory.
