I liked BFGs but now they're WAYYY too played out with all the Raptors on the road. And they look like shite after about 10k miles.

10 extra pounds on the corners make a big difference on a truck believe it or not. Weight was a big sell for me on the tires I got.

Had BFG's on 3 different vehicles, and traction, longevity, balance, and warranty when I took them back was lacking. Had m/t's, Kevlars, a/t's, and so on.ok on the road, Shitty in anything other then dry sand. My 90 Bronco with SAS has Pitbull Rockers. But my other 2 trucks run on Duratracs. One a ford, and one a Ram 1500.

More rolling resistance, loss of power, strain on engine, etc. same types of issues as going up in size.

ETA: 46 was the 275/60/20, yours is 61lbs.

if its 61, that's heavier than cooper discoverer at3 at 56-58 lbs i've seen.

My 295/65s are 65lbs and the x12.5 is 79. Huge difference

one website said 56 another said 58.... i wanted a same website comparison that ya'll were using. plus i like bitches doing my work! I guess it doesn't hurt to go down a few lb's from original stock tire...?
