10 extra pounds on the corners make a big difference on a truck believe it or not. Weight was a big sell for me on the tires I got.

:rotflmao: Had BFG's on 3 different vehicles, and traction, longevity, balance, and warranty when I took them back was lacking. Had m/t's, Kevlars, a/t's, and so on.ok on the road, Shitty in anything other then dry sand. My 90 Bronco with SAS has Pitbull Rockers. But my other 2 trucks run on Duratracs. One a ford, and one a Ram 1500.

More rolling resistance, loss of power, strain on engine, etc. same types of issues as going up in size.
