Tire warranties do not cover the tire wearing out before 80K miles. It covers defects up to 80K miles. Many people have been misguided on how tire warranties work.

Not true, I've gotten reimbursed for prorated portions bc they wore out and I can show my rotations

There are a few tires out there that carry a tread/mileage warranty, these are few and far between. For the most part, tire warranties cover manufaturer defects, not tread wear. I should have been more specific in my first post.

Pretty sure my Coopers came with a 53,000 mile tread life warranty.

Not when it comes to LT tires.... Can you blame them?? It would be dumb to warranty treadlife on A/T or M/T tire, they are the worse wearing and most abused tire classification.

MY Michelin LTZ AT2 tires have a warranty, the coopers discoverer at3 have a warranty. I know super aggressive tires won't offer one.

I'm pretty sure these are the only 2 A/T tires that offer treadlife warranty...
How do you like the Michelins? They make a badass street tire, never dealt with their A/T. How does it perform?
ETA: Nevermind, that is a street tire that they call an A/T..

Ride like shite. The P (passenger) tires ride much better, and are lighter, too. The LT are really for those who haul some heavy stuff and the like.
As far as my all-time favorite Destination A/Ts, yep they come with a 50K/5yr warranty. Am at 45K+ on mine and they have a lot of tread left - I would imagine at least another 20K or greater. They have never let me down, of course I don't pretend that they are something they aren't, either (as in severe mud/snow tire, although they have preformed well in both).
There is a reason they are the #1 rated tire on TireRack...

I hope you're driving a compact truck, seen many 1/2 ton blowouts with P Metric tires.

Now I do for work. I only get into the woods/fields/etc on the weekends. Great tire, smooth ride, and quiet. Also performs well in the woods, too.

'08 Tacoma, v6, Dbl cab. Towed a fully (as in FULLY) loaded uhaul trailer from MD to Savannah without a problem.

Looked up the coopers. They are much heavier than the rest by like almost 10 lbs from what I saw. Gonna go duratrac or firestone at.

I would've save BFG before my Duratrac's. I've had both and put serious miles on both, and Duratrac's win by a mile. They're much quieter and they stay quieter. They pull better. They look better. The only drawback is the price.
