Seriously, there are plenty of places in Asia I would live in provided I had a comfortable salary relative to the place. Vietnam would be awesome, Seoul is chill, Thailand is beautiful, Taiwan is cool, and I'm just scratching the surface. Asia is awesome.

Africa really just has Johannesburg and Cape Town to live in long term, and that's it. Everywhere else sucks on that continent as far as long term living conditions are concerned. Yeah Asia fricks you on air conditioning and ice, but everything else is pretty cool. It's a super safe continent to travel in and the people are very friendly (assuming you're not black). If you're black, then go to Africa. Not being racist at all, but the asians certainly are and don't treat black people well over there at all.
