I bet that the coaches are confidant that Brandon Harris will be the starting QB next year.

So let me get this straight.

Coaches are taking the time to groom Jennings this year.....give him the experience starting......teach him the system....start him this year.....

only to know that Harris will be starter next year?

Which raises the conundrum. If you think that Harris has more upside, then why would you start Jennings for the entire year? It would make no sense to give Jennings all of the experience this year and then kick him to the backup next year. And if Harris is your future, would you let him sit behind AJ for 2, maybe even 3 years, especially if we have Franks and possibly Shea coming in? The coaches know what they have. It's not as if there's going to be some big surprise competition next summer that they don't pretty much already know what the result will be.

So to me, the only thing that makes sense is that Harris takes over at some point this year, or AJ holds the starting spot for the foreseeable future.
