It is technically possible to only have one point in college football, though the circumstances are incredibly rare.
It can only happen during a 2 pt conversion where the team that just gave up a TD can manage a safety on the scoring team in their endzone 98 yards away. In that case it is a 1 point safety. The score would be 6-1 in that case.
