Yes. And Josh Reed. Runs tight routes and catches the ball out from his body - with his hands.

No

Diarse does have speed

Eric Martin was damn great, but he was never confused for a fast WR

I have loved this guy since the first time I saw him play at Neville, he's a great kid and a true leader...what you saw him do against Wisconsin is just the beginning

There's going to be a lot of SEC corners afraid to tackle this dude.

EM was maybe bigger? But yeah he could be that guy and probably more speed then EM as stated but man, he was one tough sonbitch so yeah hope JD follows that mold!

I see it. Probably more than half of the people on this board never saw Eric Martin play. I don't think Diarse is a blazer either and they have similar builds. Not fast, but very smooth and hard to tackle.

BTW, Trey Quinn reminds me of Bradon Stokley. Their stride is very similar along with their build.

I'm curious - why did you you stop your subject line halfway through the sentence?

Diarse is built kinda like former Ohio St receiver David Boston ( before he went nuts with the steroid-inflated arms).

Oddly, he reminds me a lot of Sheddrick Wilson from back in the day. Sheddrik wasn't going to burn anybody, but he was pretty big, and he was going to catch the damn ball.

A little. They are both slow and strong. Eric Martin was primarily an upper body strong. Diarse has arse and legs. Martin's legs looked like sticks. Martin's hands were the best ever at LSU (I'll call a tie with Landry). I haven't seen enough of Diarse's catching ability, but from what I've heard it's not elite like Martin's.

I think Diarse, Quinn and Dural are great compliments to one another. Malachi Dupre will probably not be used much this year unless one of those are injured. But if he does see a lot of action that means he's a super star.
