I don't either, and I live in San Antonio.

I do think that they can become a very prominent mid-major football program in a city of over a million people. Prior to UTSA, the best live football to be watched within the city was at a high school level.

The Alamodome is a lousy facility, but okay if you're just there to watch the game. San Antonio isn't a great recruiting hotbed, but UTSA can pip some decent talent in-state and then get some transfers from Texas and A&M etc.

That being said I don't think this current team will beat mediocre Arizona tonight.

They SLAUGHTERED a Houston team that's solid, held them to like -26 yards rushing for the entire game. They didn't look like a new program on the offensive and defensive lines is what shocked me so much.

they have 30 seniors, have gotten better each year under Coker, and mollywhopped Houston in the Coogs grand opening of their new stadium.

The only thing that really gives me pause about their win vs UH is the fact that this is the second time a Tony Levine led Houston squad got their asses kicked in a season opener that on paper should have been an easy win. I was also really shocked that Levine didn't pull John O'Korn in that game until it was pretty much over b/c he was not seeing the field for shite.
