Some great recommendations to start with. Thanks fellas!

I'm having a morning beer now at the Ye Olde College Inn on concourse D waiting on my flight and got me thinking…..is ATL not big in the way of brew pubs or breweries worthing checking out/touring?

As for breweries

Sweetwater is good.

If you can get over to Athens-only about an hour from your hotel, Terrapin is good as well.

I think sweet water or Monday night brewing offer the best brewery experiences. Orpheus and three taverns and red brick are also good. Wrecking bar in little 5 is an awesome brewpub, I would highly recommend hitting fox brothers for food and then transitioning to wrecking bar or the porter for great beer! The original vortex is also right next to these spots.

Decatur on its own has a good collection of breweries and beer spots (brick store).
