Northeast of the city somewhere between Norcross and Duluth. About 25 miles or so but now I'm hearing traffic out there is no joke. So I'm guessing more than 30mins?

I haven't been to ATL since 97 when I was in my teens so I'm definitely NOT hanging around away from where the action is. Anything is game. In fact, one of my bros suggested we go to the Pink Pony.

you won't be too far from decatur from either norcross or downtown...there are many good bars and restaurants there in a fairly small area...brick store pub, the square pub, the iberian pig, leon's full service, cakes and ale...there are probably over a dozen bars and restaurants on "the square" alone...midtown also has a lot of great options.
