Alabama has been in the AP Top 10 52 straight weeks - does it end this year?

Alabama has been in the AP Top 10 in 52 straight polls (2010-2014). They have the longest active streak in the country. Florida State is second with 18 straight weeks.
Do you believe that they keep that streak alive through the end of the year?
Additionally, Florida has the longest streak all-time in the SEC with 81 straight weeks. Does Alabama challenge that number?

*Miami was in the Top 10 in 137 straight polls from 1985-1993
*Miami was also in the Top 5 in 55 straight polls from 2000-2003
*Nebraska was in the Top 25 for 348 straight polls from 1981-2002
*Colorado has the 9th longest Top 25 streak all-time, 143 polls from 1987-1997
*USC was ranked #1 for 33 straight weeks from 2003-2005
ETA: Nebraska was also ranked in 33 straight final AP Polls from 1969-2001. The second longest streak is 20 from Michigan between 1985-2004, and the longest active streak is 7 with Oregon since 2007. That is mind-boggling.
Colorado stood out because although I remember how good they were in the 90s, 143 straight weeks in the Top 25 is incredible.

frick no! They would have to lose more than 2 games this year, and it's not going to happen.

I don't think so. We could finish 10-2 and still be in the arse end of the top 10 if we don't lose 2 straight.
1 loss could drop us from 2 to 6/7 and we could win the next couple and gain a spot or two back. A 2nd could drop us back to 9/10 if it's late in the season. We likely have to go 9-3 to fall out. That could happen I just feel 10-2 or better is where we will be.

No. Even with a loss, Bama usually barely falls. Factor in a second loss and if it is far enough away from the first loss, voters will find a way to keep Bama top 10.

It depends on a few things like when they lose and to who.
If they have an 11-1 10-2 type season they'll have to lose the games within a short period of time. After what they lost from last year, if they lose to Florida I think they should possibly drop out of the top 10, but they most likely won't.
If they get through that game though they could possibly lose 2 games and stay in the top 10 depending on what the rest of te country does. Their tough games are spread out so it gives teams time to lose so that Alabama might stay in the top 10 with a loss or two.
I'm gonna say they do drop out at some point though.

I think they lose 2 of 3 to A&M, LSU, and AU, but they'd have to lose all 3 to drop from the top 10, IYAM.

If we make it through this year we have a pretty good shot. We will be the best team in the country in 15 and 16.
