re: who has had "the yips" with throwing, not golf - everyones had those

I got it in high school playing catcher as well. My freshman year I was the backup catcher, while warming up our star pitcher, I threw it high and when he came down he sprained his ankle. For the rest of the year, I had this mental problem throwing it back to the pitcher. I was always going to be a 3rd baseman and was just needed to help out at catcher that year, but anytime I filled in at catcher over the years, the problem came back immediately. It was really weird.
