Yay for state sovereignty and the 10th Amendment.
Now, Toddy, you and yours need to get out there and convince the electorate of the State of Louisiana that they should repeal their laws regarding same sex marriage. I'll vote against you, but I would support your effort to do so.

Louisiana ratified the 14th amendment. A ban on gay marriage violates the 14th amendment. Courts are not beholden to the will of the people but rather the constitution. Guess what's going to happen when this gets to SCOTUS?
