my league is the same way.
top 4 guys from last year all picked at least 2 WR's in their first 3 picks. Some went with 2RB/2WR in first four, some went 3WR/1RB in first 4.

I've scored the most in my league two years in a row. I went RB/WR/WR/WR last year and WR/WR/RB/WR the year before.
Went WR/WR/RB/Gronk this year, but i like my team a lot. I will say i picked last all three years, so that makes a big difference in how i picked.

In a PPR league, top WR are consistent and score a lot. I want 3 really good WR's and 2 decent RB's to start. I don't mind starting a Danny Woodhead, or a similar 11-12 ppg guy at RB if i know i'm getting 20/game from my 3 wr's.
