Dat......you can't be serious! BH will never unseat AJ......ever??????? He could do it this year if AJ has a couple of bad games. I'll admit I wanted BH to be the man, but AJ is doing fine right now. Hopefully he continues to progress.....but BH is not gonna fade into the background.

I'm not saying that he will fade and ride the pine for 2-3 years. Not at all. But he certainly didn't look as ready as we thought he'd be Saturday night. He needs time to adjust to not just playing, but RUNNING a sophisticated offense. We all heard Gruden and McShay's comments last year. Cam runs a truly pro-style offense, and the terminology and line checks are likely pretty complicated. Even if he pulls back a little bit for our younger QBs, they still have a lot to learn. And Jennings has a big head start in that department.

I'm just saying that Harris needs more time, probably more than this season, to really challenge to be the starting QB. But once he gets a handle on things, he has the talent to unseat Jennings. But for now, the steadier hand needs to prevail, and that certainly looks like it will be Jennings for the near future. If he can continue to put up 200 + and no INTs with our run game, we're in pretty good shape.

You are not understanding. If Jennings plays to his potential, no way Harris sees the field other than to gain experience, in a blowout, or for a different look. Like at TAMU, Kyle Allen has the more talented arm, and next year Murray will have the most talented arm and legs of the group. if you think for a second that Sumlin would play them over Hill, you're crazy! You guys have seen Miles before. If a QB is doing great, he will not just pull him for the backup.

You obviously looked at my scenario above and you tell me that Miles would unset a kid who goes for 2500 passing yards 20 passing TDs 2-3 rushing TDs and less than 10 ints in his first year in the SEC? That would literally be the best season for an LSU QB sophomore in history.

The only way Jennings can lose his job now is if he plays really bad.
