I cant make that same call yet. Did his "clutchness" cause the arkansas dbs to lose dural?

Dural has a clutch factor, Jennings just shifts and hits the gas

No, but his clutchness had him drop a perfect pass over the LB to Dillon Gordon to start that drive...that was his first pass in a legit game situation, all while backed up on his own 3 and needing to drive 97 yards to win the game. That was pretty damn clutch if you ask me.

The kid is a cool customer. If you're not quite sold, that's fine. Just don't use Dural being wide open on one play as the basis of your argument.

i don't like this argument

if the thread title was "Dural seems to have the clutch factor" you could say "did his 'clutchness' cause AJ to drop a perfect pass into his lap?"

I agree with this. After the Arky game, I thought maybe we have that QB we've ben missing lately; that guy who's a winner regardless of talent level. Like josh336 I'm not sure yet, but I'm getting more and more confidant.

As to the OP saying this year plus two more, I don't think so. This will be our only year with AJ as a full time starter. He might alternate next year, but Harris is going to take over at some point. The signs just point to the fact that the coaches are sold on Harris.

How about his perfectly thrown pass to the tight end over the defender?

How about the pass to Landry?

How about his 21 yard scramble?

How stupid.

Actually, yes, to some degree. Landry and Jennings sold the short pass fake and the DB's dropped Dural. Also I don't remember Dural taking the ball with him on that route. AJ still had to throw him a strike...

No but AJ had the accuracy to make the throw and the vision to see Dural coming open. How many times did we see RR running open on a route but JJ couldn't/didn't see him. I give AJ credit on his vision and accuracy

no but it caused him to find the open guy and deliver the ball for win.

give me a winner at QB that can look good doing some things now and will develop the other stuff as the season goes on.

We best ride for AJ cause our backup isn't ready boys.
