step 1: buy $10 antenna from radioshack
step 2: go into program guide select 'scan for over the air channels'
step 3: you now see the new channels (in dish they're yellow instead of blue) in your guide mixed in with everything else. the program guides should also be there but if not, they should pull down during the nightly update.

change the channel to them, if they don't all lock onto the signal, don't use them.

you should get 3 or 4 strong HD channels at least OTA.
