Wisconsin's scheme had a lot to do with the seeming ineptitude IMO. Cam changed his approach in the second half, running more from the one-back with three wide-outs. Some nice plays in the passing game spread the defense even more and the blocking became superb. Not a mystery. It was better execution with a change in scheme and play-calling that turned things around.
