Seems pretty weird to me to call it a "date". Just seems you should call it a dinner.

I have a 2 year old and we go cruising and on dinner "dates" often. Which these days consist of a lot of chick-fil-a because it is the least trashy place that has a play area and she loves that shite.

I plan to take her to nicer restaurants when she gets older so that I can set her expectations correctly for how she should be treated on a date.

Really? You've never taken your mom or grandma on a "date"? Like out to a nice dinner and a play or something?
