Was this the one Ian wrote? I got in 97-98, and there was a 3rd sequence that was new. I enjoyed it.

We were waiting for neck to start up after one of the TDs towards the end of the game but it seemed like other things were going on or whatever. It just never happened. Oh well....nothing like pre-game that's for sure.

Yep. "The Blue Building" was the name of the cadence, and Ian Smith wrote it. I graduated after 96-97, and that was the year we rolled it out. However, I don't think it is still in the rotation. I heard it got dropped a couple of years later.
For the other guy asking, the other cadences had been around for a while even when I was there. I don't think anyone knows when Blue Raiders was written or the drumline started using it, but it had been around at least since the mid 80s. It probably goes back further than that. Blue Balls (or Blue Bells, as it is officially recognized by the band department) was added somewhere between 88-90. I think there may still be a third cadence, but I don't believe it is Blue Building anymore. Too bad, because it was a lot of fun to play.
