This is the way I see it too. The Root once did a story on Obama during his formative years, and tha article pointed out that he was never one of the cool kids, and at the time Michelle hooked up with him, probably because she was a nerd too, most sistas wouldn't have given him the time of day.

My question is how does a guy who is so nerdy and awkward that he can't even be popular at an ivy school....all of a sudden become a bold public speaker and gain popularity for over half of the nation to become President?
I can think of only one other person in history who fits that description.
