My backup RB is Ellington

You obviously keep Welker. But without seeing both lineups, I wouldn't accept that trade if I were the other guy. JMO

Staff have proved time and again that he is more valuable than cutler (and I like Jay this year, he just has to prove it before he has any value)
AJ is a consistent top 5 WR that you're trying to get for an inconsistent deep threat guy in Torrey and a piece of glass that is barely getting drafted in some leagues this year.
Add to that, reggie wasn't that far off in stats to AP in ppr format last year even though he barely got over 50% of the workload.
The guy would be insane to bite on that... But I have seen crazier things so you never know. Good luck either way man.
