It's hard to continue running when you lose 2-3 yards on your first down run and are facing 2nd and 13 and 3rd and 8. Even with a mediocre QB for Wisconsin we still win that game. If they had a good QB and good WR's probably not, but how many teams have an elite QB, WR, RB, and OL?

I don't know how you can say that. It's possible, of course, but if they had moved the ball on offense at all after their first 2nd half drive, it would have been very difficult for us to mount a comeback. I assume that a decent QB would have had a much better chance of moving the ball.

Who said anything about elite?
All good teams will have QBs that can put the ball in the general vicinity of their receivers. That dude was beyond terrible. How many times did his attempts land in the middle of nowhere?

I don't remember whether we were putting a lot of pressure on him. If we were, that could have caused all of those mis-throws.
