I think it's not beyond celebrities to leak their own photos with the hopes that it impacts their career positively.
I do feel sorry for the individuals whose data has been breached with the expectation of privacy. It may not be common knowledge that the cloud is a security risk I guess.

the hacking into smart phones is not new... and public figures and celebrities should already be aware of the possibility of these hacks and leaks.
