My problem with Les Miles's offense is that he often seems more concerned with imposing his will than moving the ball. He'll crowd his own attack with lots of blockers and their defensive counterparts, thus sacrificing space and maneuverability. I keep wishing for the day a light comes on... that deception and unpredictability work EVEN BETTER with a talent advantage.

Agree. The past couple years have shown Miles stubbornness in games. That he wants to have a physical running game. And that will be the be all end all.

Two examples:
Florida last year. Purifoy, Roberson, and Hargreaves were hanging on for dear life against Beckham and Landry. They could not cover them. So we get a lead and then force a running game. We barely beat a team struggling against us. It got us the Win though.

Bama last year. Same example. The Alabama defensive backs could not guard OBJ and Landry. Yet in the second half we forced a run game. And ultimately it cost us the game. We ran right into the strength of Alabama, and they stopped us.

Now this past game same statement. The Wisconsin Dbacks could not guard our WR's. So we continued to run into 3rd down into an obvious passing down.

SEC teams won't choke a 24-7 lead half way through the 3rd quarter like Wisconsin did. Hopefully the coaches learn from this.
