What's a look cost you? It'll be pretty obvious as to where the filter goes, look for a handle. :-)

if it is polyethelene, then this correct and it needs to be replaced...however, there is some flex tubing avaliable now that is metal covered with PE that is approved for use inside of buildings...

No, not strictly. Yellow corrugated or tru flex stuff is rated for indoor use.

There are 2 metal clasp on the return side of the unit that open the door where the filter slides in, this is the only filter on the unit (don't put one in the return air grill inside the house).
