Internal discipline from the lmfao/fireworks thing.

So we had trouble stopping the run straight up and had to load the box to stop it (which won't work against Miss State or Auburn) and neither Herron nor Gilmore got on the field?

In a couple of sets, we had three DEs and one tackle playing. Either these guys are Mickey Johnson Part II or they were suspended. I sincerely hope it is the latter because our line is not a quality SEC DL right now.

Couldn't have been. Had to have been something he did during the week coming up to the game or maybe the night in Houston before hand.

Miles named him the starter a couple weeks before the game (after QT was injured), months after the bike incident.

Robinson was listed as a starter too, as was Porter. Herron had to sit a little for his involvement in the lmfao incident, and that's obviously not something the coaches are going to talk about.

Two questions for you:

1. How do you know this?

2. What about Greg Gilmore?

1. Just what I've heard. Not trying to claim any big secret inside sources, tifwiw.

2. Don't know anything about Gilmore's situation.

This sounds like a booster fail.

I mean, seriously, we don't have anyone that can slip these kids a bike in BR?

This is correct, And Robinson and Porter both were suspended from the game and weren't allowed to travel with the team.

Hence, the only reason Herron wouldn't have played is if he got held out due to something that happened after they had already gone to houston, like maybe a curfew violation or something.

If it was for the bike thing, he would have just stayed home like the others.

Hill dressed for games last year. Read into it however you want, but this one was probably Brick's call, and he may have seen the field in the second half if Godchaux didn't show up. If something happened last week or in Houston there would have at least been rumblings about it.

Eta: you keep referencing the bike. That's a separate incident from the fireworks and lmfao.

Maybe they let Herron travel for emergency purposes in case of injuries. I mean we only played 3 DT and 1 DE at DT. If two of them had gotten injured we would have been shite out of luck

Why would Herron be in trouble for the fireworks?

Wasn't it Lmfao\Godchaux who threw the fireworks into HIS apartment?

Apparently he wasn't suspended. From "beast" to benched, doesn't make sense.

It was almost definitely disciplinary. Doesn't mean it was a suspension. We put a DE in there because we didn't have anyone available to rotate in.

Disciplinary reasons. If he were available hed have been first DT to rotate in.

This was all covered in the lmfao thread but whacked so I'll just say there was a scuffle between he and Herron over that incident. I'd wager that's why Herron traveled, so he could be disciplined without drawing too much attention to the issue. It should be over now.

Sorry I'm completely in the dark on this lmfao incident as well as the fireworks. Is this something we can't talk about? Anyone care to explain?
Thanks

You know...this shouldn't piss me off..hit it does. Not because of what they did..but because they were suspended. I'm probably just selfish and stuff...but other sec teams win at all cost while miles wants to be a hard arse.

I mean that great...but this was the biggest game of the first half of the season. We could've lost. Almost did.

We spend millions on coaches and stadium upgrades...invest all out time etc. so someone gets in a fight...smokes a joint etc.

fricking bullshite.

And to those..."it's just a game", can piss up a rope and frick off. We embarrassed ourselves.
