Tidal

My work is starting a points system with attendance. Rack up 32 points in a year and you are fired. Call in sick ....6 points each time.

So the employees that called in a lot are now thinking that they get 5 a year now.

Do you build up "paid sick days"?

eta:I try not to look.

I guess it's better than his famous crotch shots while he's driving.

The employees that call out a lot call out way more than 5 times a year.

I mean....we work in a hospital....getting sick is an occupational hazard.

So now....they are basically wanting us to work when we are sick. That's what will happen. Nurses will come to work sick and spread it around to their patients because they will be scared to call in and have points added.

We just got the email so we've been bitching about it all night.

Is there a problem with people abusing sick days?

I like the 1 min late rule. One thing I know ab shift work is that it's shitty to leave your relief waiting.

But do you deal with sick people all the time fin?

It's a lil different when you work in a hospital caring for sick people.
