Lauberge Indigo Hilton Renaissance Those are the 4 "nice" hotels in BR.

Staying downtown also allows you to use the Tiger Tram thing (assuming it is still running).
Have heard great reviews about the service.

LL I stayed in the Cook Hotel on campus in a suite this past week. It was very nice. And most don't know about it, so it was perfect. It is on sorority row.

Staybridge Suites, if they have any rooms available. Right on campus, so you can just stumble back to your room after a day of drinking at the tailgate.

Stay at L'auberge. Something else for y'all to do after the game. You'll be married. Not like you're going to be having sex very much anymore.
You can even catch the shuttle from there to campus.

I have tried the B&B thing a few times. It's not for me, or my wife. The 4 hotels named as the 4 hotels do the job nicely.
Renaissance has pretty good room service, but no PPV if you're into that.

Never understood how a bed and breakfast is "romantic"
You are staying in a room in basically someone's house. Sometimes you don't even get a private bathroom. And most women are not gonna want to have sex without worrying about the owners hearing them and seeing the same owners at breakfast the next morning. No thanks.

I could see that being a problem for a screamer

At B&B's, we never stay at the main house. We always find one with individual cabins w private bathrooms.

Shadetree's Gardeners Cottage with its 19 windows (12 stained glass) feature a sitting room and bedroom with sweeping hilltop vistas and a sumptuous bath with "oasis-like" Jacuzzi for two. Antique stained glass windows highlight the intimate bedroom. In addition to the front porch, Gardeners Cottage guests also have their own private outdoor area complete with fire pit.

Shadetree's Loft is repeatedly described as "magical". Up at treetop level, with ten foot tall cathedral ceilings and walls of Louisiana red heart cypress, its Adirondack-style charm with skylights over the bed and old-fashioned tub have drawn countless honeymooners. Its private balcony overlooks the outdoor campfire and the dale leading to the Mississippi River.

B&Bs absolutely skeev me out to the core.
I'm not one for antique atmospheres.
I generally go for modern style hotels and stuff.

Indigo no, the other three yes IMO. Indigio not bad just doesn't measure to nice.
