I could see them becoming pretty darn good. At least Texas Tech level within 5 years. San Antonio isn't too bad... Austin is an hour away. Port Aransas for spring break. Good basketball team to cheer for too. Larry Coker coaching there probably helped a ton.

I was thinking that Central/South/etc. Florida are relatively new football programs that have had some good seasons.
They're aren't any schools like that in Texas-maybe UTSA will fit that bill???
