This post makes me want to go to CU.

Utah is a solid program - a tough out...they might not be great...but like Oregon State...they're going to show up and make you work for it.

Colorado is hopeless. Just hopeless. The football culture just isn't there...they are openly hostile to football success...administration...hell, maybe even sports in general that don't require a backpack and patchouli oil.

If wazzu had anything AT ALL besides Halliday they would be ok...but they don't. Their defense is non existent, they can't run because the play calling fools no one, the line can't block for shite and out of about 7 they have maybe 2 good receivers

Football is fascist bro. You know it's bad when your best player in 15 years only played because it was something to keep him in shape when he couldn't ski.

Yeah...Wazzu will be in a lot of 55-25 games and they will be on the losing end.

I really thought the Pirate would get things going...but Pullman is one hell of a tough sell.

Mike Price was a hell of coach to get kids to go up there. Moscow, Idaho has more going on than Pullman, Wash.

They have more than two good receivers. Their defense did take a step back though. They were actually better last year. Losing Buchanon hurt them a lot.

That's funny because it's true...yeah good ol' Jeremy.

Oh well, every conference needs that one team that will always be a W.

I think Colorado is that forever team now that Oregon State, Oregon and even Wazzu and Cal have all made runs of being good the last 20 years.

My uncle was in the band at Oregon back in the late 80s....when asked what Pullman was like, he said he'd rather spend a weekend in Corvallis.

And that's saying a lot...because Corvallis looks like time stopped in 1958.

I had a friend who went to Wazzu to play golf...he was from Oregon.

He felt Pullman made Eugene look like Paris.

It told me all I needed to know. He won't even go to the game when it's played in Corvallis. I'll give it to him...the hate is real

Yep, I was an outsider before I got to Oregon and hadn't really heard of the Civil war until my sister went to UO.

It's a minor rivalry on the national scale but living there...the hate is real and nasty.

Corvallis is the old thyme, Walgreens, redneck town...and Eugene is the hipster Nike money.

It's new money and cultured vs. an animal husbandry school.

I've been to two night games in Corvallis...the fans stand around burning trash cans to warm themselves and drink beer outside the stadium. It's like a ghetto scene out of Rocky.

My God...that makes that 3-2 Auburn-MSU game look like the NYG-NE SB from a few years ago.

Before there was Temple in the late 80's...among others.

Oregon and Oregon State were the worst teams in Div I football.

The State produces zero talent...and nobody from Cali wanted to go up there to play.

It was like high school teams. Belloti and Riley performed miracles. Especially Riley - who gave Dennis Erickson - a foothold. Even before Nike money, Belloti really turned things around.

Great coaches. That's how bad the Oregon schools were.

ok...CU Juggernaut...you carry on too.

Have you been there? I have...and have family in Fort Collins.

Are you a CU grad...just curious? You seem to follow the Pac and know so much.

Yes I've been there often. My SO was in CU's band, one of my sisters went to CU, the other sister went to CSU, my best friend since 3rd grade went to CSU, two other good HS friends went to CU, and my parents live in Edwards.

After we do LSU/A&M on TDay my SO and I are flying up that Friday so we can go to Utah/CU.
