Gordy Rush let cat out of bag

Man I don't want to sound like i'm bashing Gordy but I was listening to him this morning and was thinking - Dude WTF! Thanks for spilling the beans. It was almost like he wanted us to be aware that "he's in the know". This is Miles' 10th year - we all had a good feeling that Jennings would get the nod based on CLM history. I didn't think it was very professional of Gordy to disclose something that CLM was trying to keep hush. I hope Gordy can have a little better control in the future.

If that giant frick is saying AJ...then I expect to see Harris.

Needs to quit running his mouth!

Going with the older guy, at least to start, is not exactly something specific to Les Miles.

This is all you needed to say.

i like this meme. you know, the one where we state an obvious and completely reasonable decision but then tack on "and it's no surprise knowing Miles," as if to say it's dumb?

here's my entry:
the team will wear white jerseys tomorrow night and its no surprise knowing Miles.

now you go!

I like this. It could replace "Les Miles has lost control of..."

OK.

We will either win or lose the coin toss, and it's no surprise knowing Miles.

Its exactly the same with Pocic/Porter. Miles has lost his mind.

NRG Stadium is putting down turf insteaf of grass for the Wisconsin-LSU game and it's no surprise knowing Miles.

Oh wait . . .

Say what now? How would that move differentiate Miles from nearly ever other experienced football coach? That is, going with a guy that has at least one collegiate start and one full season in your program to start the first game of the season instead of a true freshman who this time last year was in high school?

I think Harris, eventually, takes over...but this is the safe move that almost EVERY coach in the country would make. For frick's sake...Saban continued to play Randall when it was apparent to all that Russell was the future and had already demonstrated his ability in his second half and eventual OT victory over OSU in 2004. And when the local paper ran an online fan poll asking fans which guy they thought should start, Saban ripped the media a new a-hole for even asking...and fans defended Saban.

Going with the older guy, at least to start, is not exactly something specific to Les Miles.

Can this just be stickied......or put somewhere where it doesn't have to be typed out all the time. Especially on the Scoreboard if Jennings first pass isn't a 75 yard TD.

Jennings is undefeated too.

I hope to God I'm wrong, but I can definitely see Miles refusing to make a switch

Switch from what? I pray he doesn't make a switch, that means we are beating Wisconsin little red arse.

I just hope that this decision is based on how he played in camp as opposed to him just being a little older than Harris...

Doubtful. I am sure it is more based on something, like an ICEE drinking contest, but not training camp or shite like that...

Is it just impossible to believe that just maybe Jennings improved from last year?

Then why hasn't he separated himself enough from a true freshman..

Harris is actually older... but Jennings has real game experience, so it's no surprise seeing him start the first game of the year, especially against a team like Wisconsin.
