re: This is why we need more than 4 teams for playoff

Sure this has been said already but:

SC can still win the SEC theoretically and if they do they're a lock for the playoffs. And even if they don't, I have a hard time feeling sorry for a team that gives up 50+ in a home opener.

There's a very good chance that Auburn and Bama would have been selected last year.

And LSU and Bama would have definitely gone in 2011.
