Humperdinck to Buttercup - "Please consider me as an alternative to suicide."
One of my favorite scenes is one of the completely useless ones. The scene after the wedding where Buttercup is with the King.
*kisses the king on the cheek*
"What was that for?"
"Because you've always been so kind to me, and I'll never see you again, because I'm killing myself as soon as we reach the honeymoon suite."
"Won't that be nice."
*to his wife*
"She kissed me! Ha!"
