Is he straight now too?

he is actually considering going back to the away team. i haven't talked to him about the particulars, but I think he is questioning his decision.

tough deal for the guy. married 30 years with 2 kids, struggled with homosexuality for about 20 of it and finally came out, got divorced, found somebody, moved there for him, hated the gay culture there, hated California, hated the taxes, and came back to TX.

Very politically conservative christian.

i had a coworker that just recently moved out there to take up a gay lover.

he literally left after 3 weeks after seeing his taxes and how wacked out people were out there.

just said "never mind." and moved back overnight.

I have had cousins in Cali their entire lives, they are in La Jolla . One of them brought their family to visit this summer and are giving a hard look at moving to South Louisiana after the trip. This is after living in Cali for 50 years...

as do i. very good man. whatever his path, he's too kind and gentle to have had to deal with the heartbreak he's had over the last few years.

same in TX.

We have all these people (mainly technology in Austin) who move here to get away from the taxes and then make those towns turn blue. i don't get it.

Toyota definitely made the right choice in moving to Texas. California is going a little too far in their quest to encourage citizens to use their cars less.

have you dealt with traffic in california? it can take an hour to go 10 miles. Its ridiculous.

Anyway, my friend is shutting down his trucking company that is in california. But the gas tax is not the reason, its the new emission laws that go into affect in 2015. he cannot afford to retrofit his trucks.

That's the thing. These people move out of these liberal hell holes when things get out of hand yet consistently they will continue to vote the same way. For the same type of people and the same ideas that ruined the state they just left. It's so sad when asked why they do this. They refuse to admit their liberal policies are what's making life so much more difficult.

his business is just barely surviving. it was probably going to go under regardless of this. But looking at a $3k cost per truck on top of already just breaking even, he decided to call it quits.

He is really unhappy about moving out of california. he loves it there. His goal is to move back in 2 years.

How many gas stations will spring up just across the state lines? The gas stations on the Nev side of Lake Tahoe will boom.
