why is he even talking about this...aren't there bigger problems and situations to deal with?

he does not think marijuana is more dangerous than alcohol
equally "dangerous", driving while intoxicated is dangerous. Lung cancer is dangerous. Liver damage is dangerous.
harmless to others and should be legal, and not dangerous if consumed responsibly by responsible people
and what I think really needs to be said because the NFL and NBA seem to think everything is worse than violence is
"violence is worse than marijuana/coarse language/unpopular opinions/"
however, josh Gordon has cost himself millions of dollars because he just can't not smoke marijuana...I could do stop doing anything except for breathing for that kind of money...the players want it changed, good...but in the meantime you're a retard if you continue to smoke when it could cost you millions

Agreed, should be legal but isn't and if I had that much money on the line I would definitely stay smoke free no matter how much I liked it. I was saying the same thing about Ricky Williams.

The war on marijuana and our prison system stocked full of non violent offenders is a pretty big problem. Not to mention the 30 billion a year this country wastes on the war on drugs. That doesn't count aid we give to other countries to fight the war in their country.

To be fair, with the increasing numbers of prescription pill overdoses/deaths (it's flat out becoming an epidemic here in Kentucky between that and heroin) and a fair share of former athletes that get addicted to them we'd be much better off if weed was at the very least legalized from a painkilling perspective. And I could see where that would overlap.
