Question about applying for a credit card
So here's my situation...I'm in my 1st year of residency, so not exactly raking it in - my salary is $48,500. I've never had a credit card before, just always used my debit card. I also am not paying on any loans or anything.

My trans union score is only 671. I have no negative marks on my credit history, just no real history to speak of. I want to get a card to help build some credit, however I'm antsy about getting turned down and it hurting my credit further.

Do the money experts think that my salary and credit score are sufficient to get approved for like one of the basic capital one cards (that is where i have my checking acct).

I greatly appreciate any advice

they approve credit cards for dogs you should be good.
