That's sort of the problem around here. I'm sure if I was in LA, there'd be some qualified outboard mechanics around. Here? Maybe on the coast, but not up here around Hattiesburg. There's probably a guy or two locally that know what they're doing, but I don't know who they are.

You'll have to leave it with me but it will be fixed. if that's what you want to do.

I won't likely make a game until the NMST game, 9/27. But when I'm off of work, which I am right now, I'm OFF...7 days/week...undetermined length of time. I was off February 18th-May 15th, but then in Cleveland, OH from then until about a week ago. So it doesn't HAVE to be on my way to Tiger Stadium. It wouldn't kill me to take a day trip. DS is only a couple of hours, tops, from me.

You either have an electric short or powerpack going bad. If it was fuel related youd be able to duplicate this issue at will.

That is what I am thinking. A electric short can come and go till it breaks all the way. Really a PITA.

I agree a short would possibly come and go. BUT...

Wouldn't it die if it shorted out? It doesn't die...it continues to run, and only bogs down if throttle is applied. Throttle is fuel, and that's why I think it's a fuel/air problem. Also, remember the first thing I noticed was fuel leaking at the fuel pump. Hard to get fuel out of my head...
