I don't see where welter was even average in this game. I've already noticed a few times him making a reactive play when he was in position to make a preventative play on the ball.
His failure to disrupt the QB at the 2Q 12:20 mark leaves me nervous if he gets the most playing time this season. He was right there for the sack and whiffed.

I've been watching and he's made a few really good plays IMO
