I don't understand the "regardless" part. If he provides a plausible, open, reasonable, consistent story...then, he will either not be charged OR...at THAT point...be worthy of the support / donations.
To do so now seems a bit precipitous to me. I will try my best to be an open-minded, honest listener to the story. But, to date..the police have been slow to provide their side, and then not very open about it.
I do NOT assume he did anything wrong. But, I'm not jumping to his defense either.
Folks are free to do with their money as they wish. but, it does seem oddly early

Understand BHP, however without the lead time to generate the funds, with a potential two legal attcks he can and likely would burn through any funds he has with the quickness.
