Jet into town? What the hell does that mean? Are you saying that Holder is a racist just for going to Florida and Missouri? Do you think certain parts of the country should be declared Holder-free zones whenever a White man kills a Black man?
My fricking point is that Holder is a political hack and I wouldn't trust getting a fair shake from this a-hole in any way shape or form.

To be fair...I wish the AG office was a Holder-free zone

But, that is a separate issue

This is the kind of nonsense I expect from you. He wasn't accidentally in Missouri or Florida. He went there to lend his support and gravitas (such as it is) to a particular side of the judicial process. It's unseemly. Trying to make it seem seemly is quite a job and is frankly beyond your ken.

I guess some of us see the most important law officer in the country going to Ferguson, meeting with everybody except the local police and Darren Wilson, and announcing that, "I'm not here as the AG, but as a black man," and we suspect that the race-baiting motherfricker has an agenda in play.

I guess that's what some of us see

What's nonsense is that Holder's travel plans will have any bearing on anything. There's no satisfying Angry White Guys. Holder never brought charges against your hero George Zimmerman and you still bitch just for the sake of bitching. The day that Holder starts listening to the bellyaching of folks like you is the day I lose respect for him.

Just ignoring everything that has to do with this case, you have respect for Holder?

Do you respect him for the job he does, or do you respect him because he makes "angry white men" angry?

Either one is acceptable.

You didn't ask me. But, I do not respect him for the fact that he is a dishonest, disingenuous a-hole.

But, I don't object to his involvement in these two notorious cases.....though, i wish he were unemployed and, thus, a moot point in this thread

This is sheer nonsense. If it has no bearing on anything, he should reimburse the government for wasting the money. He had a purpose in coming here.

Yes you do

It's stupid that people are giving money, but you know why they are

Playing Devil's Advocate...were he to "clear" the officer (or, at least agree that no evidence to bring charges), I'd suspect that it would go a LOOONG way to containing the ire of the irrational riotous assholes.

It could be a very positive thing to have the Justice Department support a case of "no charges"

No, it wouldn't. They'd just start talking about how they were sold out and how they thought Holder would know what they go through but apparently he doesn't.

A couple of days ago, trackfan said he wanted Obama to nominate Holder for the Supreme Court. He said Holder would make a great SCOTUS justice.

For those of you without a scorecard, I thought I would give you some idea of what you're dealing with.

Well, you have the advantage of prescience. I, however, do not possess that extra capability.

I only say that because that's exactly what my St. Louis AA friends said about Obama after his first statement on Michael Brown. So it's not quite prescience.
