Maybe. Not sure.

But I do know that in most locales it does make people uneasy. Especially in urban areas. I won't repeat the full story, but it's like the guy who walked into a fricking stationery and gift store here with a sidearm and hung out for awhile. Finally, someone called the cops who took the guy outside and talked to him. The officers basically told him he may be legal but he was definitely being an a-hole.

I've said before I own handguns, but I honestly don't get the attraction of open carry on a regular basis. It really do question people's reasoning.

Open carry seems to fall into the category of: Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I can agree with this. I conceal carry, but i would never walk around with my handgun strapped to my waist in public.

And I am a firm believer in the 2nd amendment, but you don't need to walk around Wal Mart with a 12 gauge strapped to your back. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I honestly don't see many people open carrying here. Maybe I just don't notice it. But if I were in Albertsons and someone was walking around with a rifle, I honestly would probably be a bit scared.
