Say what government spokespersons say on a daily basis:

"I'll check on that and get back to you."

Ridiculous if true.

But due to privacy laws, the school can't tell its side of the story unless the girl and her parents waive those rights. Maybe she legitimately got kicked out and made up a story for revenge.
