LSU will be tougher than MIT would.


The better schools graduate so many with good GPA's because it is in their best interest to. They hold your hand through, and push you to graduate.

Schools like LSU collect the tuition, and say good luck, figure it out.

But seriously LSU has a pretty good engineering program, and most importantly, has a lot of companies that recruit there. It's not the best but if you say he wants to go to school with his friends, he will do fine at LSU and will likely not be at the top of his class

Sounds silly. But regardless, MIT is top 3 in the world as far as alumni wealth. So...
