Ignorant is the precise word I'd choose to describe him. One can be intelligent and ignorant simultaneously. These types of people are the most dangerous ones on Earth. If Dawkins had the capacity or presence to convince large numbers of people then he'd be up there with Mao, Stalin, Hitler and Pol Pot.
