However, the whole town isn't burning down, there's no sign of it spreading, either in the St Louis area or elsewhere, seemingly to the disappointment of some on both sides who would like this to be about something bigger.

Uh, one side wants this to continue and be "bigger". The other side believes it should never have started and that it should be over.

This whole situation is sad to watch
Especially with how our media covers news

It's crazy to see how many have their minds made up without even knowing all the facts yet. One video I watched was right after the shooting, and it amazed me how many would say what happened when someone new walked up on the tragic scene. The amazing part was they would begin or end their statements with "I didn't see what happened or wasn't here, but he was shot in cold blood with his hands up....." Another crazy thing was. The shooting didn't surprise many, but only the time of day did though. It's gotta be crazy & sad to live in a place where the 1st thing that comes to ones mind after a daytime shooting. Is it happened at daytime instead of nighttime.

The police made a huge mistake by not covering Brown's body up afterwards. That video shows just how quickly the narrative of being shot in cold blood spreads throughout the upset crowd. Whether that happened or not here isn't the point. All that will come to light as facts keep getting discovered, but when one watches that video it's easy to understand why the anger took off like it did. You can feel the anger building throughout the crowd while the body lied there uncovered. That sure didn't help cool an already intense situation at all.

There are no "sides". The only people who believe there are "sides" are race-baiters and racists.
