If they want to win the tournament then they pitch her now and hope she wins, then rests and then can play in the international finals where she will be on the full days rest.
Something I don't understand, why would a team with only one loss be eliminated from winning the tournament. For instance if Vegas wins then loses to the winner of Chicago/Phily winner, they go to the 3rd place game.
That seems very unfair. Unless I'm reading the bracket incorrectly.

yeah that seemed fricking dumb to me as well. the only advantage of winning this game tonight is to save some pitching and an extra day off, i guess? i get that's a big deal and all, but you should be rewarded more for going 4-0 to start the tourney.
