re: What's the longest you've been unemployed and how did you handle it?

It took my wife 5 months to find a job after she graduated from college.... the whole process was very frustrating. I completely understand how depressing the process is... Luckily she had a little part time job to help cover our monthly expenses but it took her over 100 applications to get 4 interviews and 2 job offers. She kept an excel spread sheet of all of the jobs that she applied to... I want to say it was about 110 job applications total.
